I grew up in a small town on the Gulf Coast of Alabama called Fairhope. I had an early interest in visual arts and spent my childhood drawing, sculpting, and painting. I studied directing at the University of Montevallo where I earned a BFA in 2004. After college, I moved to New York City to work as a director and set designer finding opportunities to stage "Closer" by Patrick Marber and "Line" by Israel Horowitz.

As my interest drew closer to film I moved to Los Angeles. In 2009 I directed my first short film, "The Year That I was Born" which was an official selection at the Ion Film Festival and screened at the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival.

I began designing short films and music videos shortly after moving to the West Coast. I take a lot of influence from my experience in live theatre when executing design concepts. In 2013, I designed my first feature film, WHERE THE DEVIL DWELLS, an 80's inspired slasher horror film due out soon.

In 2014 I designed and directed a television pilot starring frequent collaborator, puppeteer Andy Ferguson of Red Yarn Productions.  "The Deep Woods" screened to sold out shows in Portland, Oregon and is available in limited release. We hope to debut the first season in the near future.

In 2015 I designed my second feature film, an epic fantasy entitled ALL EARTHLY CONSTRAINTS. I continue to work as a director, designer, and puppeteer working with companies such as Maker Studios, Microsoft, HiHat Productions, AFI, USC, UCLA, and LMU.
